I am very nervous about leaving my reactive dog with anyone but family, however Extra Hands at Home was so understanding and took extra care when meeting Dylan, listening to my instructions. Our standard cleaning service covers all the essentials to keep your home looking its best. This includes:
- Dusting and wiping down all surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Removing cobwebs
- Tidying and making beds (if requested)
- Moving light furniture where possible to clean underneath
We’re happy to adapt the clean to your home and your preferences – just let us know what matters most to you.
Yes, we come fully equipped with our own cleaning products, vacuum cleaner, mop, and all the supplies needed to get your home sparkling. You don’t need to provide anything unless you prefer us to use specific products – just let us know.
Yes, we’re very used to working in pet-friendly homes. We also use pet- and child-safe products wherever possible, so you can feel confident your space stays safe for the whole family. Just bear in mind that cleaning can take a little longer in homes with pets, and while we’ll do our best, the odd stray pet hair may remain.
Yes, we can do a basic clean of interior appliances as part of your visit if requested. If you have something more specific in mind – like defrosting a freezer or tackling heavy build-up – let us know and we’ll plan accordingly.
We’re happy to clean interior windows as part of our service. For large feature windows like bifolds or floor-to-ceiling glass, there may be an extra charge due to the time and care involved. We’ll always confirm this in advance.
Yes, we do. If you need a deeper, more detailed clean (such as before or after a move, or a big seasonal refresh), we can tailor a service to suit. Let’s have a chat about what you need.
We do both. Whether you’re looking for weekly support, a fortnightly tidy-up, or just a one-off visit before guests arrive, we’re flexible and happy to help.
Yes – our minimum booking is 2 hours. This allows us to deliver a quality clean and gives you the best value for your time.
Not at all – many of our clients prefer us to clean while they’re out. We’ll agree on access arrangements that work for you.
Yes, we’re fully insured for your peace of mind.
No – we don’t currently provide specialist cleaning for carpets, upholstery or ovens. We recommend using a dedicated service for these deeper treatments.
