From quick check-ins to longer visits, I offer flexible home care that keeps your space safe, fresh, and looked after. I can also help with small DIY tasks or basic decorating — ideal for getting things sorted while the house is quiet.

  • Collecting post and checking doors and windows

  • Watering indoor and outdoor plants

  • Adjusting blinds or lights for lived-in security

  • Taking bins out and bringing them back in

  • Airing out rooms and running taps if vacant

  • Stocking basic groceries before you return

  • Small DIY tasks: hanging shelves, painting, filling holes

Whether it’s a one-off visit or regular check-ins, I treat your home with the same care and attention I would my own — so you can head out without worry.

I am very nervous about leaving my reactive dog with anyone but family, however Extra Hands at Home was so understanding and took extra care when meeting Dylan, listening to my instructions. I can’t recommend Extra Hands at Home enough! Bree was an absolute lifesaver stepping in to look after my dog when my plans had to change at the last minute. She has such a genuine connection with my 4-legged friend, even the mention of her name gets tails wagging!

I can’t recommend Sabrina enough when it comes down to those tasks you sometimes just don’t have time to do. Our home care service is designed to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Depending on your needs, this can include:

  • Watering indoor plants (and outdoor plants, depending on how much needs doing)
  • Putting out bins
  • Picking up post or deliveries
  • Checking windows and doors
  • Feeding fish in tanks or ponds
  • General home checks to make sure everything’s as it should be

We’ll agree a plan with you based on what you’d like us to take care of, so you can relax knowing your home is in safe hands.

No – this service is perfect for when you’re away on holiday, travelling for work, or just out for the day. We’ll look after your home as if it were our own.
