I am very nervous about leaving my reactive dog with anyone but family, however Extra Hands at Home was so understanding and took extra care when meeting Dylan, listening to my instructions. I can’t recommend Sabrina enough when it comes down to those tasks you sometimes just don’t have time to do. As a new first time mum, the housework and gardening has been one of the last things on my mind in recent months and when before the weekend was left to complete chores, now I want to spend time with my family.

We offer general garden maintenance, which can include:
- Lawn cutting and edging

Yes – we bring everything we need, including petrol and electric tools. If we’re using electric tools, we may need access to an outdoor power socket.
Yes, we’re fully insured and have lots of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of gardens – from well-kept lawns to more wild and natural spaces. We take pride in treating every garden with care and attention to detail.
Yes – we can pop by for a one-off tidy-up, or arrange a regular visit to keep your garden looking lovely all year round. We also offer seasonal garden prep (e.g. spring planting or autumn leaf clearing).
Yes – gardening visits are a minimum of 2 hours. This gives us time to make a noticeable impact and deliver a job well done.
Yes – we can pop by for a one-off tidy-up, or arrange a regular visit to keep your garden looking lovely all year round. We also offer seasonal garden prep (e.g. spring planting or autumn leaf clearing).
No – as long as we have access to your garden (for example, via a side gate), we can get started without you being there. If we’re using electric tools, we may need access to an outdoor power socket – we’ll discuss this with you in advance to make sure everything’s in place.
Definitely. We’ll always check in to discuss what you’d like us to focus on, and we’re happy to adapt each visit to your changing needs.
We usually work through light rain, but in heavy downpours we may need to reschedule. We’ll always keep you informed if the weather disrupts our plans.
No – I don’t use chemical weedkillers. I spend a lot of time around children and pets, so I prefer to use safe, hands-on methods to deal with weeds.
No – we don’t offer tree surgery or work on very high hedges. For safety and insurance reasons, we recommend using a specialist for these tasks.
